Kind Medical is a provider of medical cannabis products in the Australian marketplace. The company faced a unique challenge in promoting and educating their audience due to the strict Australian regulations surrounding cannabis products. As a result, potential customers must be vetted and registered before accessing product information and educational content.

Kind Medical's primary challenge was not being able to effectively promote and educate their target audience while adhering to regulatory requirements. The specific problems included loads of regulatory constraints, extra administrative burden on staff, and a lack of personalized engagement for customers.

The solution
To address these challenges, Kind Medical partnered with us to design and develop a comprehensive membership portal housed within the HubSpot CMS. The key features and functions included:
Automated Vetting and Registration:
The member registration process is now fully automated online. Medical practitioners generally need to be members of the governing body, AHPRA. By using an integration with AHPRA, existing AHPRA members can be vetted in real time and given immediate access to the Kind member portal.
Failed registrations are flagged and can still be given access based on certain criteria.
Personalized User Profiles:
When new users join the platform, they start by filling out an onboarding questionnaire designed to establish their profile. This initial step gathers essential information about their preferences, and needs, laying the groundwork for a personalized experience.
Following the completion of the questionnaire, the platform uses a content matrix that curates and displays educational and product content that aligns with the user's unique profile and preferences.
As users continue to explore and engage with the portal, the system features automatic profile updates. These updates are triggered by the users' activities and interactions, refining their profiles in real-time. Consequently, the content matrix adapts to show new and pertinent content.
Content and Product Information:
The platform provides detailed product listings, offering comprehensive information about various medical cannabis products. Each listing includes in-depth descriptions, specifications, usage instructions, and potential benefits, ensuring that users have access to all the necessary details to make informed decisions about their purchases.
A product comparison tool makes it easy to work out the pros and cons of various products to see which one is best suited for a user’s needs.bUsers can efficiently search through both content and products using advanced filters and keyword search options.
This functionality allows for quick and easy access to the specific information or products they are looking for.
Data Integration and Automation:
The platform features seamless HubSpot integration, ensuring that all usage and customer data is integrated and shared across HubSpot’s Marketing and Sales Hubs. This integration allows for a unified view of customer interactions, enabling more targeted marketing efforts and streamlined sales processes.
The platform enhances customer relationship management and drives more effective engagement strategies. Moreover, the platform includes inbuilt automation capabilities, significantly reducing the administrative workload for Kind Medical staff.
Extensive automation features handle routine tasks such as data entry, customer follow-ups, and report generation, freeing up staff to focus on more strategic initiatives. This automation not only increases operational efficiency but also ensures a more consistent and responsive customer experience.
Administrative Access:
The platform includes a dedicated admin section for Kind Medical staff to manage products and member information. This has been created specifically for those without HubSpot access to be able to update product listings, modify descriptions, manage inventory, and handle member profiles.
